Hall Hire Charges

STRENSALL AND TOWTHORPE VILLAGE HALL CHARGES WITH EFFECT FROM 1st APRIL 2019

Main Hall – £13.50 per hour

Function Room – £13.50 per hour              

Hampshire Room – £10 per hour 

Kitchen – £3.00 per Booking (for drinks only)

Kitchen – £3.00 per hour (if preparing or cooking food)

All Rooms – 1 to 9hrs –   £36 per hour 

All Rooms – over 10 hours  – £360

The hall will be opened and closed at the appropriate time by the Caretaker. Should you have any problems please contact the Caretaker on the number provided on the noticeboard

Please note   If you require access to the hall before or after your event (for setting up or clearing away) the appropriate hourly rate for the room will be charged.

A ceiling mounted projector, and a DVD player are available for hire in the Function Room for an additional £3 per session. Free wi-fi is available on request. An Induction Loop system is provided in the Function Room

Kitchen

The refrigerator, microwave, cups and saucers, water heater, tea towels, washing up liquid are supplied when the kitchen is hired for drinks only.

The oven and hot water for washing up is provided when hiring the kitchen for preparing and cooking food.

A charge will be made for the following items

a) Cutlery (knives, forks and spoons) £10.00
b) Crockery (dinner plates, tea plates, fruit bowls, cups and saucers) £10.00

The above items can be reserved at the time of booking by entering details under the EXTRAS column on the booking form.  

The following are all supplied free of charge on request

  • Stage –15 blocks, each 4ft square and 2ft high- to be erected and dismantled by the hirer under the supervision of a Village Hall representative.
  • Tables & chairs are provided to be set out and put away by the hirer in the appropriate store cupboard. Please stack these in an orderly fashion after the event
  • Amplification for speech and background music. 2 microphones (1 stand, 1 clip on)
  • Mentor tripod screen -7ft6ins x5ft6ins and a pull-down screen in the Function Room
  • Piano

A deposit of £50 is required for party bookings only which will be returned after the event if all is left clean and tidy and there is no damage.
