Strensall and Towthorpe Village Hall – Home

Strensall and Towthorpe Village Hall is a multi room venue available to hire in the heart of Strensall for a wide range of activities and events.

We have a range of rooms available for great prices including the main hall, 2 function rooms, and a well fitted kitchen.

The main hall is mainly used for exercise classes. In addition it is used for children’s parties and can also accommodate large events such as concerts or meetings (The portable projection equipment can also be made available and a screen provided on request) The lighting was upgraded in September 2024. Further upgrades are taking place in early 2026. The floor has been re-sanded and decorating is taking place in January 2026. New blinds will replace the window curtains in February 2026.

The larger function room has fixed facilities to project images onto a motorised large screen. A sound system with induction loop, 2 x wireless microphones. A DVD player linked to the overhead projector.

The smaller function room has a fixed pull down screen and a portable projector is available on request. The lighting was upgraded in February 2025.

The larger function room was refurbished in May 2022 with new carpet, curtains and paintwork. The lighting was upgraded in December 2024.

We are located just off The Village in Strensall and the Hall can be seen to the north of the playing fields, just off Northfields. We have a large car park available for 48 vehicles.
