Hall Hire Charges


Main Hall – £13.00 per hour

Function Room – £13.00 per hour              

Hampshire Room – £9.50 per hour 

Kitchen – £3.00 per Booking

Kitchen – £3.00 per hour if preparing or cooking food

All Rooms – 1 to 9hrs –   £36 per hour 

All Rooms – over 10 hours  – £360

Overhead projector and DVD player is now available for hire in the Function Room for £3 extra. Free wi-fi is available on request. 

The hall will be opened and closed at the appropriate time by the Caretaker.

Please note.  If you require access to the hall before or after your event (for setting up or clearing away) the appropriate hourly rate for the room will be charged.

Equipment.  Cups and saucers, water heater, electric jug kettles, tea towels and washing up liquid are supplied when the kitchen is hired, as is a refrigerator and microwave.

The following are all supplied free of charge on request

    a)  Stage –15 blocks, each 4ft square and 2ft high- to be erected and dismantled by the hirer under the supervision of a Village Hall representative.

    b) A portable amplifier for speech and background music, with a remote microphones

    c) Mentor tripod screen -7ft6ins x5ft6ins and a pull down screen in the Hampshire Room

    d) Piano                     

    A charge will be made for the following items

a)   Cutlery (100 knives, forks and spoons) – £10.00

b)   Crockery (100 dinner plates, tea plates, fruit bowls, cups and saucers) – £10.00

The above equipment can be reserved at the time of booking by filling in the EXTRA column on the booking form.  The putting out and putting away of chairs and tables can be pre-ordered at a cost of £15. 

All loss or breakages must be paid for.

A deposit of £25 in cash or on a separate cheque is required for every party.  This will be returned/ destroyed afterwards if all is left clean and tidy and there is no damage.
